Biohazard and Groovy Happening

What a week! Thursday we welcomed New York based hardcore metal riffters Biohazard to The Exchange and on Saturday Manorlands benefit group Groovy Happening took over the venue for a night of awesome live music.

Biohazard turned up midday in a huge Nightliner coach, with tons of gear. They chilled out in Musicians Centre all day drinking coffee and playing guitars, support band The Departed needed a quick repair job on the nut of one of their guitars which Musicians Centre were happy to sort.
Ticket sales were strong and the venue was packed out, sweaty but incredibly friendly and everyone was awesome. Sometimes it can be a little nerve wracking welcoming an overseas band who are big, fortunately everyone with Biohazard we’re amazing fun, friendly and it was a pleasure to have them play. Support band Arythmia were also amazing live and the crowd loved it all.
Thanx Keighley and everyone at @ExchangeArts tonight in West Yorks!!! Great place to play and hang out for the day! #biohazard

Saturday The Exchange was taken over by Groovy Happening, a fun and hard working collective of people who put on gigs in aid of Manorlands Hospice, a palliative care and treatment at home charity in Keighley. A great range of acts played, Dave McKinley, Rosa Sargent, Plato’s Jacuzzi and Corporate Tramps. As with all Groovy Happenings the atmosphere was smiley, plenty of fun was had and some outstanding local talent graced our stage!
